Society Objective

The objects of the Society shall be:

To promote the study, practice and advancement of Medical Ultrasonology and allied science.
To provide a forum for the professional interaction of Ultrasonologists.
To set & monitor the standards of Medical Ultrasound practice.
To publish a periodical of Ultrasound articles.
To constitute a committee that would assist judicial or quasi judicial bodies in matters related to Medical Ultrasonology.
To liason between the members and the traders or manufacturers.
The Society and its official periodical will be a NON PROFITABLE organisation for the promotion and welfare of Medical Ultrasonology.
To be a centre for items of designs.
To maintain a library, Ultrasound Museum and a Society Office and a Study Circle by Subscribing to various Travels in India and Abroad.
To organize, provide and / or assist Medical Ultrasound orientation training programme for Medical / Paramedical personnel.
To encourage research in Medical Ultrasonology and allied sciences with grants out of the funds of the society or from donations received.
To create or assist in creating Branches for any of the purposes aforesaid.
To do all such other things, as are cognate to the objects of the Society or are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
To make arrangements for inviting creative dealings in the place of Literature and Fine Arts.
The society shall apply their profits if any or other income promoting the above said objects and it is specifically prohibited the payment of any dividend or distribution of any income of profit among the members.
